B.S., Construction Engineering Technology
Michael Hernandez is an Estimator with a B.S. in Construction Engineering Technology who produces airtight cost proposals and supports Fasone’s civil division through project engineering. His experience spans GSA, USACE, and NPS contracts, giving him deep familiarity with FAR compliance and federal documentation. Known internally as a “steady hand,” he flags scope gaps early and keeps subs aligned through clear communication. Off the clock he dabbles in graphic design—an unexpected creative outlet that sharpens his eye for detail.
Over the past several years Michael has progressed from Project Coordinator to Project Engineer and now Estimator, building a 360-degree view of project delivery. He performs quantity take-offs, scopes and solicits subcontractor bids, and assembles competitive proposals while tracking schedules, RFIs, and submittals for the civil team. His portfolio includes tenant improvements, heavy-civil sitework, and facility upgrades for agencies such as the General Services Administration, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, and the National Park Service—experience that underpins his meticulous documentation standards and risk-management approach.
